Allan D. Keel - President and CEO

Mr. Keel has more than 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.Prior to joining Crimson as part of its recapitalizationin 2005, he served as Vice President/General Manager of Westport Resources' Houston office, from 1996 - 2000 and from 2004 until its ultimate sale to Kerr McGee. After his first term with Westport, Mr. Keel served a brief time as Vice President of Enron Energy Finance before becoming President and Chief Operating Officer of Mariner Energy Company. Prior to returning to Westport, Mr. Keel served as interim President to Woodside Energy Inc. (USA), an affiliate of Woodside Petroleum Ltd. He began his career at Energen Resources where he directed the company's exploration, joint venture and acquisition activities. He received BS and MS degrees in geology from the University of Alabama and an MBA from the Owen School of Management at Vanderbilt University.



Thomas H. Atkins - Senior Vice President, Exploration

Mr. Atkins joined the Company in April 2005 after serving as the General Manager - Gulf of Mexico for Newfield Exploration Company. Prior to his tenure at Newfield, Mr. Atkins served in various exploration capacities with EOG Resources and its predecessor companies, including prospect generator, development geologist and finally as Exploration Manager. Mr. Atkins also worked at the Superior Oil Company. He earned a BS in Geology from the University of Oklahoma. 



E. Joseph Grady - Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Grady joined the Company in March 2005 and has more than 25 years of financial, operational and administrative experience. His previous positions included serving as Senior Vice President – Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Texas Petrochemicals Holdings, Inc., Vice President – Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Forcenergy Inc. and Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Pelto Oil Company. Mr. Grady is also a managing director of Vision Fund Advisors, Inc., a financial advisory firm he co-founded in 2001 that provides financial advisory and capital raising services to development-stage companies. Mr. Grady started his career with Touche Ross & Co., predecessor to Deloitte & Touche LLP. Mr. Grady received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Louisiana State University and is a certified public accountant. 



Jay S. Mengle - Senior Vice President, Operations and Engineering

Mr. Mengle has more than 25 years of oil and gas experience with previous senior management roles at Norcen Explorer and Westport Resources. Prior to joining the Company in April 2005, Mr. Mengle served as Shelf Asset Manager - Gulf of Mexico for Kerr McGee Corporation subsequent to its 2004 merger with Westport Resources and was responsible for implementing Westport's Gulf Coast/Gulf of Mexico drilling and production operations. He also served in various drilling, production and marketing management capacities at Norcen Energy Resources, Kirby Exploration and Mobil Oil Corp. Mr. Mengle received his BS in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas. 



Michael J. Autin - Vice President - Production

Mr. Autin joined Contango in May 2012 as Vice President of Production. Mr. Autin has over 33 years of experience in the petroleum industry including the Gulf of Mexico and U.S onshore shale. He has held various positions including Production Manager, HSE Manager and Offshore Installation Manager. Prior to joining Contango, Mr. Autin was employed by BHP Billiton since October 2000, where most recently he was Gulf of Mexico Operations Manager, Field Manager and Operations Advisor. Mr. Autin attended Nicholls State University where he studied petroleum, safety and business. He received a BS degree in 1986.



Sergio Castro  - Vice President and Treasurer

Mr. Castro joined Contango in March 2006 as Treasurer and was appointed Vice President and Treasurer in April 2006. Prior to joining Contango, Mr. Castro spent two years (April 2004 to March 2006) as a consultant for UHY Advisors TX, LP. From January 2001 to April 2004, Mr. Castro was a lead credit analyst for Dynegy Inc. From August 1997 to January 2001, Mr. Castro worked as an auditor for Arthur Andersen LLP, where he specialized in energy companies. Mr. Castro was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy in 1993 as an E-6, where he served onboard a nuclear powered submarine. Mr. Castro received a BBA in Accounting in 1997 from the University of Houston, graduating summa cum laude. Mr. Castro is a CPA and a Certified Fraud Examiner.



Jeff Sikora - Vice President, Land

 Mr. Sikora has over 25 years of land experience in the oil & gas  industry. Mr. Sikora joined Crimson Exploration, Inc. in May  2007 and  has served as its Land Manager since 2008. Prior to  joining Crimson Mr.  Sikora served as Land Manager for Erskine  Energy from 2005 to 2007  and as the Senior Landman for  Edge  Petroleum from 1995 – 2005. He  began his career with  Shell Western E&P in its New Orleans office in  1984. Mr. Sikora received his BA in Petroleum Land Management from  the University of Texas.
